about the project
The project bears the name of blooming Japanese cherries. Sakura trees are a striking feature and you can find them in the adjacent park and in the gardens and rooftop terraces. Sakura represents another step in the building of our concept of premium lively housing and combines world-class architecture from London’s Jestico + Whiles studio with lush vegetation on each balcony or terrace. The atelier Flera is preparing the private and shared greenery.
Sakura was nominated as a Future Project in the largest international architectural competition, the WAN Awards. Thus, it was the very first Czech project to rank in this category among the six most progressive residential buildings from four of the world’s continents. Sakura also figured in another important international competition, the World Architecture Festival, in the Future Projects category, where it earned a spot among the world’s 16 best buildings.
